About Racha Noi South Tip
Located just a few hundred meters from the southern tip of Racha Noi Island, this area features granite rocks with their peaks situated at depths of 10-15 meters.
Due to stronger currents, oceanic manta rays often feed in this area, some growing as large as 6-7 meters. While encounters are not guaranteed, this site offers the best chance among the dive sites near Phuket. Apart from mantas, you can often spot giant barracuda schools and other pelagic fish. The rocks are adorned with colorful fan and soft corals, with numerous reef fish inhabiting the surroundings.
Under ideal conditions, you can enjoy up to two dives at this site, but there are several other exceptional dive sites nearby.

About the Dive Sites
Koh Haa Islands are part of the Koh Mu National Park and can be visited from mid-October to early May, depending on current weather conditions. This area is excellent for free diving and suits both beginners and advanced divers. These dive sites are one of the highlights of southern dive safaris. If you don’t have time for a liveaboard trip, this is your best chance.
Koh Haa Dive Sites
The Koh Haa island group consists of six small uninhabited limestone islands. They are located south of Phi Phi Islands, close to each other in one area. Due to their remote location, relatively few divers visit them.
Beginner divers can explore the crystal-clear waters of the lagoon, while advanced divers can visit the famous Cathedral or the Chimney dive sites. The marine life is diverse, and you may encounter turtles, stingrays, and with a bit of luck, leopard sharks or reef sharks. Large pelagic fish occasionally make appearances, and the luckiest divers might spot whale sharks. The unique underwater formations and clear visibility will mesmerize everyone.
Anemone Reef
Anemone Reef, another rarely visited dive site. It is an underwater limestone rock located near Shark Point and the King Cruiser wreck. The King Cruiser passenger ferry struck this rock before sinking, and there were no casualties as everyone was rescued.
The top of the rock is at a depth of 5 meters, so only the pinnacle’s top is visible from the surface. It is named after the sea anemones that blanket it, housing numerous clownfish and shrimp. A rope leads down to it, which boats usually tie to. The seabed is flat at 25 meters, adorned with smaller rocks, fan corals, and barrel sponges.
Anemone reef is also famous for its resident seahorses, pipefish, and bamboo sharks, which rest in the cracks of the rocks.
Additionally, massive schools of barracudas, snappers, rabbit fish hangs around it. The luckiest divers might find leopard sharks resting on the seabed or even a whale shark in the blue.
Due to occasional strong currents and greater depths, this dive site is recommended for advanced divers and we only dive here when the Sea is not too rough.

About the Dome or Plateau Dive Site
The Dome or Plateau dive site is the furthest dive site from the Similan National Park, offering unique experiences and challenges. This site is known for its unpredictable and often strong currents and greater depths, making it a favorite among large fish and adventurous divers.
Huge schools of barracuda, giant trevally, tuna, and numerous smaller fish surround the area. The dive site is in open water, about 200 meters south of the island. Its topography ranges from 12 to 14 meters deep, with the option to dive down to 30 meters. During the dive, you’ll navigate through massive granite rocks and coral gardens.
What makes this dive site a favorite for many is the occasional sightings of pelagic like manta rays and whale sharks. Additionally, guitarfish, turtles, and leopard sharks like this area. However, the fantastic sights come with the challenge of often strong currents and greater depth. Therefore, this site is exclusively for advanced divers.
Koh-Tachai Reef Dive Site
Located on the side of the island, the reef extends from 0 to 30 meters in depth. Sandy, sloping reef with hard coral reefs and rocks. Various species of stingrays are frequently encountered, and you might even spot a turtle or a leopard shark. About Richelieu Rock Dive Site
Richelieu Rock is located 18 kilometers from the Surin-Islands. While the top of the rock barely touches the surface, it occupies a vast area in the depths, therefore it takes more dives to explore the entire dive site. May depth is between 30-33 meters.
The top of the rock is covered with green sea grass, while deeper areas are adorned with bright soft corals. Octopuses, cuttlefish, and giant groupers are often observed in the rock’s crevices.
At the seabed, numerous smaller and larger standalone rocks surround the main rock. Additionally, the macro world is marvelous: seahorses, ghost pipefish, clownfish, and dancing shrimp hide in the cracks. Various types of nudibranchs and frogfish await discovery.
The rock is surrounded by large schools of fish: giant and chevron barracudas, jackfish, and snapper. It’s always worth keeping an eye on the activity in the blue, as larger fish occasionally swim by. This location offers the best chance for a whale shark sighting in Thailand, but even here, considerable luck is required.
