About Khao Sok Lake
The Chiow Lan lake is located within the Khao Sok National Park, covering an area of approximately 160 km². Subsequently, the valley of the Sok River was flooded after the construction of a nearby dam. The result is this enormous lake, with water temperatures ranging from 28-30°C throughout the year, making it perfect for swimming and relaxation.
Additionally, the enchanting lake is adorned with cliffs rising from the water and floating raft houses. The surrounding area features 1,000-meter-high limestone mountains and dense jungles that host a variety of wildlife. It’s the perfect place to relax, away from the noise of tourist centers.
